Visited Kiehls, finally got my mint lip balm! The lady gave me so many samples today...

Surprise! hehe The bristles are really soft...but I don't think I'll be using these brushes too often...wouldn't want to dirty them too badly >.<

| OPI Naughty Is the New Nice |

I bought this from Sephora a while back, but haven't really had a chance to use it...or rather I've been too lazy to put it on.  My nails haven't had their break in a while, so I've been letting them rest for a bit. Bare nails are nice...but it was time to be a little more festive. 

I bought this because it was so metallic'y! It actually painted on a little blue-r than what it looks like in my pictures.  Still, a very pretty colour!

| Sudden realization |

I've been looking through old pictures lately...just to reminisce a bit ~ good times :) 

I was feeling pretty annoyed with my hair actually...I had it cut about a month ago and I've already been wanting to get another cut... it's not my stylist, she's great...but I was thinking to actually just cut it all off...up to my shoulders or shorter...and to dye it brown again. 

Tonight...I came to a different conclusion. 

I spent a little bit more time on my hair (lets just say I've never had hair longer than this before) and straightened parts of it out.  I flattened the top a little bit as well with my straightening iron. 

I hadn't realized how long my hair actually was... 

I'm now thinking: IONIC PERM to straighten it for good...

KIEHLS☆RAVE

Alright, so it's not really midnight...but I thought I'd just quickly blog before going to bed.
I'm wanting to get some things off of my head...so what better way than to blog! :)


I like to keep my blogs somewhat consistent, and so I went back to read my previous entries--which brings me to my first Kiehls' purchase ever!


I have to say...since then I've gone back and dropped much more cash.
I fell in LOVE with their face wash, and toner.  Since I gave away both of my travel sets to my boy, I went for the full sizes! 
The weather has been so dry with the seasons changing... my skin really needed to be quenched!

I was going to buy just the cleanser and toner...but this set caught my eye...it came with:

(1) ultimate strength hand salve (2) ultra facial moisturizer (3) ultra facial toner (4) ultra facial cleanser

Clearly it's a much better deal! The sales lady was nice enough to give me a bunch of samples! Lots of eye creams lol I wonder if she was hinting anything. 

[My Thoughts]

I really love the whole set, my skin feels a lot softer after using Kiehls' Ultra Facial line.  What I like the best is that I can easily apply makeup on top of my toner every day and it doesn't feel heavy.  I do find that I do not need to use the moisturizer every night, it's a bit too much richness for my skin. Although it's different for everyone! 

I also picked this up as well, I was running dangerously low in sunscreen... loving it so far! It isn't sticky at all, feels like a moisturizer :) I ended up giving this to my mom because she fell in love with it...and so I bought a full sized version of this as well... (not to mention...I picked up another travel size set for myself!)

I've heard so many different answers... yes, no, not even close...
I really don't feel it this year.  Christmas is usually on of my favourite holidays...
Perhaps it hasn't really hit me yet...


Is this what adulthood truly feels like?
What is there to look forward to? 


Everything seems so...unreal. 

SATURDAY☆SHOPPING

Went to the mall today with Crystal! So much fun hehe ~

We filled up our stomachs with some breakfast, and began our little adventure!

My new purchases:

They had a bunch of travel sized products that were 3 for $10, so I chose 2 bottles of Aromatherapy Eucalyptus Spearmint, and  White Citrus body lotions! Great for traveling, on the go, or at the office! 

I have a thing about making my room smell nice...lol I'm honestly a big fan of candles...but I'm not allowed to have them :( So I bought a Wallflower! heeeeeee~

So cute looking kekeke ~ Makes my room smell so niceeee ~ it's a bit too sweet though >.< I've opened the window to let some air in @_@ But otherwise it's great!

My first time trying out Kiehl's, my boy told me that his skin has been stinging lately...even with application of Vichy's Hydra Mag C moisturizer for men...so I decided to head into Kiehl's to try out some of their products, since there are so many positive reviews out there. 

I asked the sales associate for a moisturizer for dry skin, minus the gucky feeling of a thick cream, she showed me the Ultra Facial Cream, and also let me know that they had special gift packages with the Ultra Facial Cream, Cleanser, and Toner, in travel sizes for $32! I bought one for C, and one for myself to try~ I'm running low on toner and am down to my last tube of face wash.  I've always wanted to try Kiehl's products :) I also picked up a lip balm as well, I've used this in the past and I did like it.  I chose the lip balm with SPF15. I really wanted to try the mint one too... >.< Next time! hehe

| Beyond the Rack Haul |

Crystal and I recently made purchases on Beyond the Rack, a flash sale website that features specials on name brands.  Sales start at 8am every morning, funds are in CAD, and taxes are applied at time of purchase.  We've ordered several times from Hautelook, and decided that we would try Beyond the Rack out.  I must say though...shipping takes a while on Beyond the Rack.  I've linked the two sites with invite links from my own account.  You do get a $10 credit if you invite someone and they make a purchase through the website, but it's not only that. If someone wants to join either site, you have to register first, and wait a little bit for the site's "approval." It's a lot easier with an invite link lol You can start your shopping sooner.

FIRST☆POST

Got to try something new today for the first time! Lots of information being thrown at me haha


| Halloween |
So we had a Halloween pumpkin carving contest at work, I can't remember when the last time I carved a pumpkin...if ever.  I do remember going to the pumpkin patch with my classmates and picking out a pumpkin to bring home.  I've never carved one by myself, so it was definitely new to me! 


I was originally going to make a Hello Kitty pumpkin, but I decided against it and went for...this:

Ended up cutting my left thumb...but it was worth it! :)
