ASOS❤ORDER

About 2 weeks ago, I ordered a dress off of ASOS, an online store based off in the UK.  I have to say that I'm really happy with it!! Quality is really nice, and best of all - free worldwide shipping :) 

Although I do have to warn for those drooling over items on the site, you pay for what you get so shop wisely ;)  Would I shop there again? Yes I would!! Just...be sure to order early if you're ordering something for a specific event.  I ordered my dress on January 11th and it arrived today, January 28th.

BEAR❤LOVE

I know it's no secret that I love my teddy... 
I thought that I'd dedicate this post...to us, because today...was one of 'those' days.  As a matter fact...it's been one of 'those' weeks. 

Everyone has their own sob stories about their lives... and perhaps that's really one of the things that actually motivates us to keep moving forward.  That sounds so simple, yet realistically is something that comes with sweat...and blood.  Please don't get me wrong! I'm in no way complaining about the not-so-great events of this week... but rather how thankful I am for what I have... 

Some people may call me immature...for posting countless amounts of photos of QQ (my teddy).  Her pictures have spammed my Instagram account--what can I say? She's adorable, photographs well, and...well is just ADORABLE. You get my point. 

I love being able to come home after work, and seeing her big smile.  She reminds me every day, it's as if she says, "Hey! Stop that frown-y face of yours and smile back at me!!" 

The little things in life that we tend to forget... that we smile because we are touched in some way or another that our brains send our bodies signals to smile.

Seriously, how awesome is that.

BF☆26TH

I thought that I would dedicate a blog post to my boyfriend's 26th birthday, as it is in the first week of January,  and this year, was a little different compared to the others. Firstly, we were actually able to spend it together... as we are long d for the most part, we can't always spend anniversaries or birthdays together.  It's quite alright though :) it's the thought that counts and really makes the times that we can actually spend together that much more special!

This year...this sums up what I was working on ... a little art project, I guess you could call it :) (Thanks to my bf for taking this photo haha)

So to explain, yes that is a golden ticket.  That was his birthday present, a pair of golden tickets ;)
Heavily inspired by Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and their golden ticket, I decided that I would make one too! There are different parts to this: 1) The chocolate bar 2) The golden tickets and 3) The "Winner Package", which is actually the main birthday card.  (Those jars on the side are filled with Skittles- which I sorted and stored individually because SOMEONE complained about how they don't sell "single coloured bags of Skittles" lol)

It was fun to make :) Mostly used Photoshop and Illustrator for this project, and then got them printed.  Of course there's a bit of measuring involved too XD
While these colours may look...girly...I tried to stay within the purple and yellow/gold theme :)

In the end, I'd say things turned out quite alright, some things could have turned out better, but with the time frame that I was working with to get things finalized...it's alright.  

PS. I used a real chocolate bar... and yes, it is actually edible HAHA

Another year, time to start brainstorming for the next year!!! Wheeeeee ~

Oh dearie, it's been a while since I blogged again! 
First of all, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

2012 passed by with a whirlwind! Many great memories ~ Now to recap some of the major events since Halloween (my last blog post)

2012 Vegas Trip

| 6 | Purchase super worth mentioning... I meant to buy only a new jar of gel eyeliner (which I love btw), and ended up walking out with several other items... the sales rep recommended these other items to me, and I couldn't resist.  I am SO glad that he introduced these items to me! I am SO in love with the blush in particular. I bought two items from their newer line (Mineralize?), the eyeliner, and a small bottle of oil makeup remover, which I thought would be great for traveling.  I love that the prices in the states are so much less expensive than in Canada >A<.  

I miss Vegas!!! (Or it could be that I've caught the travel bug...) Time to start planning for the next trip... LOL
